新聞稿 —《前線．焦點2024》新聞攝影比賽、《錄像 · 前線2024》新聞及紀實錄像比賽

由香港攝影記者協會舉辦之《前線．焦點2024》年度新聞攝影比賽評審日，已於二零二五年五月十日（星期六）順利舉行。今屆比賽一共收到75名參賽者報名，合共836張相片，及56輯圖片故事。

今年的年度圖片，為端傳媒攝影記者林振東拍攝《蘋果日報》大樓舊址。評審認為相片具歷史意義及前曕性，廢置的辦公樓像歷史的里程碑，記錄新聞行業在歷史中的變遷，同時相片亦留有相當大的詮釋空間，將歷史事件的判斷權留給予觀眾，讓觀眾也成為解讀作品的一部分，映照出攝影者按下快門時的深思熟慮。有評審點出，這張相片能從芸芸傳統硬性新聞照中脫穎而出，正反映時代的進步——攝影者應該相信觀眾閱讀影像的能力。

至於今屆一般新聞組別中，冠、亞、季軍均從缺，賽果為歷年首見。評審認為，一般新聞組別整體未達到歷屆獲獎之水平，故全票通過冠軍從缺，6票通過亞軍從缺，4票通過季軍從缺。評審決定將得分最高的三張作品並列優異，以表對同業仍堅持記錄時代的欣賞。另外，評審也鼓勵各行家除了工作以外，亦能多在日常生活之中發掘更多攝影題材。

此外，第二次舉辦的《前線 · 焦點2024學生組》參與人數增加至13人，較去年翻倍。評審高度讚揚參賽的學生，他們的作品能以率真眼光及微觀的視角觀看社會，不論選材、切入及呈現手法佳，毫不遜色於公開組。評審團樂見年青學子對新聞攝影的熱忱，及對社會議題的關注，望各參賽學子能保持熱情與真誠，而本會定將繼續致力向學界推廣新聞及紀實攝影。

《前線．焦點》新聞攝影比賽為一年一度全港最大型的新聞攝影比賽，最早於1993年開始舉辦。所有得獎新聞照片，均由香港專業的攝影記者拍攝及經評審精挑細選，務求向社會大眾展示具歷史意義，又具新聞和藝術價值的攝影作品。希冀加深市民對時事的關注認識，提昇大眾對攝影記者和傳媒的工作認同，同時表揚各得獎攝影記者過去一年對業界的努力和貢獻。

《錄像 · 前線2024》新聞及紀實錄像比賽的評審工作亦於二零二五年五月三日完成（上週六），今屆參賽影片數量比上屆稍微上升，但本會亦希望藉此鼓勵更多媒體或獨立製作人的參與。

今年度公開組大獎得主，為《Domestic ‘helpers’ battle two-week rule to stay in Hong Kong》，講述菲律賓移工在香港尋找工作的狀況與經歷。製作人是來自南華早報的 Bryan Wood。評審認為這部作品展現出良好的新聞觸覺，透過具特色的角色設定、有力的畫面，以及動畫的巧妙運用，完整地講述了在香港被忽視群體的聲音，呈現出兼具深度與張力的敘事。因涉及利益衝突，來自南華早報的評審Claudia Hinterseer避席所有有關南華早報提交的影片的討論及投票。

學生組大獎得主，為《「污染者」自付？》，講述兩位長期病患者面對垃圾徵費的困境。製作人是來自香港中文大學的洪一銘、司徒泳錡。評審認為該作品透過深入接觸兩位主角，這部作品得以從一個獨特的角度切入一個廣泛討論的政策議題。儘管這為故事增添了複雜性，製作團隊仍處理得當，利用具衝擊性的畫面，展現了清晰而有力的敘事。

另外，評審也揀選了三部優異作品，兩部選映作品。

評審肯定了該比賽在行業中的重要性，同時希望來屆有更多作品能夠參與，使參賽作品的種類更闊、內容及影像的維度個更廣、討論更豐富，從而更能達到表揚及推廣優秀新聞及紀實錄像作品的目標。

公開組比賽：
一如歷屆，比賽分為「突發新聞」、「一般新聞」、「人物」、「體育」、「特寫」、「自然與環境」，以及「圖片故事」七個組別，相片必須在2024年內拍攝。

The annual “Focus at the Frontline 2024” news photography competition is now open for submission. The jury will be composed of professionals in the news photography, media and artistic industries. All journalists are welcomed to participate. HKPPA members can enter for free.

Deadline: 23:59 February 28, 2025

The student competition established last year received a positive response. This year, HKPPA is introducing the Features category to the student competition. The details of each competition are as follows:

Open entries:
Categories receiving applications include Breaking News, General News, Portrait, Sports, Feature, Nature and Environment, and Photo Essay. All photos should be taken in 2024.

Student entries:
Categories receiving applications include Feature and Photo Essay, both open to all themes. Submission is open to all full-time students.

Feature:

  • Participants can submit any 5 photos taken in 2024.

  • The majority of the pictures should be taken in 2024, however, it’s at the jury’s discretion to allow pictures taken before 2024 to be a part of the submission.

本會樂見上年新設的《錄像前線》錄像攝影比賽反應踴躍，今年將繼續舉辦《錄像前線2024》，為紀實錄像攝影師提供平台展示作品。此比賽同樣分為公開組及學生組，以鼓勵莘莘學子發掘潛能、展現所長。比賽將由資深紀錄片編導和視像記者擔任評審，具體名單將適時公布。

HKPPA is also holding “Video at the Frontline 2024” competition, providing a platform for video journalists, documentary filmmakers and students to showcase their hard work. All journalists are welcomed to join the competition. HKPPA members can participate for free.

【明報專訊】

據本報了解，美聯社一名法籍駐港攝影記者早前申請工作簽證被拒，本月中在香港國際機場再被拒入境香港。資料顯示，該攝影記者曾為美聯社拍攝壹傳媒創辦人黎智英在囚照片。

曾拍黎智英獄中照 法國提交涉

香港攝影記者協會關注有會員被拒入境，建議當局向新聞界提供更公開透明的簽證許可準則。美聯社發言人回覆稱為該記者在香港的工作驕傲，美聯社繼續在港運作（have a presence in Hong Kong），並與涉事記者處理下一步後續。據悉，法國當局亦向港府當局提出交涉。

入境處回覆稱不評論個別個案，會按相關法律和政策處理每宗個案。

據悉，該法籍攝影記者原有簽證今年上半年到期，其後申請工作簽證繼續留港，今年中簽證申請被拒。該記者上周嘗試以訪客身分入境香港，在機場被查問後被拒入境，遣返法國。根據目前規定，法國公民可免簽入境香港逗留不超過90日。

另據多個業界消息，自2020年起外媒記者申請工作簽證時，不時收到當局問卷式提問，當中包括過去採訪報道內容等。

香港攝影記者協會說，明白執法部門會按不同情况採取不同執法考慮，惟近年傳媒工作者被拒入境時有所聞，建議有關當局可與新聞業內人士緊密聯繫，提供更公開透明的簽證許可準則，以維護香港素來良好及正面的新聞自由形象。

《錄像．前線》錄像攝影比賽現已接受報名

香港攝影記者協會今年再創新猷，因應香港值得嘉許的紀實短片愈來愈多，首次舉辦《錄像・前線》錄像攝影比賽。是次比賽接受5至20分鐘內的紀實作品參加，參賽者可以個人或團隊參加，每組可提交不超於3件參賽作品，而作品發布時間／主要製作時期必須為2023年至2024年5月。

攝記協每年舉辦《前線・焦點》新聞攝影比賽，期望嘉許年度最佳新聞圖片。既於本港紀實短片風貌漸廣，攝像記錄不再局限於圖片媒介，現新增《錄像・前線》錄像攝影比賽，希望為各紀實錄像攝影師提供空間展現作品，為時代見證。比賽找來資深紀錄片編導及視像記者作評審，名單將適時公布。

本比賽設公開組及學生組，公開組參賽費用為$380（攝記協會員可免費參加），而學生組參賽費用為$150。

The Hong Kong Press Photographers Association is bringing in something new this year again. To recognise the increasing number of documentary videos in the city, the HKPPA is holding “Video at the Frontline” documentary video competition for the first time.

The competition accepts documentary entries ranging from 5 minutes to 20 minutes. Entries can be submitted by individual or group and each entry may submit no more than 3 works. The publishing time and main production period must lie within 2023 to May 2024.

HKPPA holds the annual “Focus at the Frontline” news photography competition to select the photos best representing Hong Kong photojournalism of the year. As news documentary increasingly spreads from the medium of photo to video, we expect the “Video at the Frontline” competition to showcase and honour the hard work of video journalists and documentary filmmakers in marking the key moments of the year. The jury will be comprised of veteran documentary filmmakers and video journalists and will be announced in due course.

The competition is comprised of Open Category and Student Category.

The entry fee for the Open Category is $380 (free for HKPPA members) and the fee for the Student Category is $150.

本會就有記者在區域法院大樓外拍攝期間兩度被警員撞開並被粗言辱罵之聲明

就《明報》昨天（17日）報道該報記者在區域法院大樓外拍攝期間兩度被警員撞開並被粗言辱罵一事，攝影記者協會促請警方執法人員在執勤時持守應有專業操守及態度，避免阻礙新聞工作者採訪。

據《明報》報道及影片可見，一名案件主管小隊的警員在護送律政司檢控官員離開法院大樓期間，兩度撞開該報記者，並以粗言辱罵。而警方回覆《明報》稱會提醒人員時刻注意個人言行及提升專業敏感度，唯同時呼籲傳媒採訪時，採取專業態度，避免對其他人造成不便及影響。

有關地點是業界慣常守候拍攝的位置，本會認為當時記者僅進行正常合理的採訪工作，不應遭無理阻撓，並重申警方在工作時應保持專業態度及操守，避免對採訪中的記者造成不必要的採訪不便、阻撓及肢體碰撞，以免損害公眾知情權。

本會就政府新聞處以保安理由要求傳媒臨時撤換採訪慶回歸活動記者之聲明

香港攝影記者協會獲悉多家獲邀採訪慶回歸活動的傳媒機構，被政府新聞處以「保安理由」，要求臨時撤換記者。由於出席活動的記者須滿足當局規定的核酸檢測次數，部份傳媒機構因未能趕及調派人手，而錯失參與採訪的機會。

本會認為當局有關安排混亂，影響採訪和報道的權利，對此表示極度遺憾。政府新聞處於本月16日要求每間獲邀傳媒機構，為最多20名出席的記者報名。處方其後收緊安排，只容許每間機構派兩名記者分別採訪就職典禮及升旗禮，並要求記者於26日起，每24小時進行核酸檢測並由29日開始入住酒店隔離。惟昨日（28日）傍晚，新聞處突然拒絕多位已報名的記者到場採訪，今日（29日）更有攝影記者抵達酒店後才獲悉被拒出席。

香港回歸25週年為全城關注的重大新聞，是次採訪安排三令五申，最終導致多家傳媒機構無法派記者到場，拒諸門外。嚴重影響新聞採訪和報道，損害公眾知情權。本會期望當局檢討，保障採訪自由及新聞工作者的權益。

Focus on the Frontline” 2021 photo competition

The judging of the annual “Focus on the Frontline” 2021 photo competition concluded today (Saturday, May 28, 2022). The jury received 949 photographs and 75 series of photo stories submitted from 82 photojournalists.

This year’s Photo of the Year was awarded to “Pillar of Shame” by HK01’s photojournalist Liu Ngan Hung.  The jury thinks “the Pillar of Shame reflects the Hong Kong people’s sustained concern over June 4th, which is also a yearning and worries for the country’s democratisation. As workers removed the pillar in the twilight, it symbolises the freedoms of thought and expression once cherished in Hong Kong being dispossessed. The lighting condition and framing of the photograph gives it a baroque aesthetic, bringing tension to the work. The posture of workers lowering their heads to avoid being photographed and the darkness that envelopes the action are metaphorical, constructing a meaning that is more than the sum of all the visual elements in the image.

“Focus On The Frontline” photo contest first began in 1993 and has been one of the largest photo competitions in Hong Kong and one of the most prestigious awards for photojournalists. Through this competition, we would like to feature photographs that are important to history, combined with elements of art and journalism taken by photojournalists within the year. Also to provide recognition of their great work and give an insight to the works of photojournalists and the media to the general public.
